As the need arises for your loved one to transition from one level to another, we provide the full continuum of care. Taylor Manor has an 82-bed capacity providing three levels of care:

Personal Care, Intermediate Care, and Total Care. We also provide respite care for those times when your loved one needs a temporary home away from home.

Personal Care

Personal Care is the perfect option for an older adult who wishes to live independently but needs help with daily activities. At Taylor Manor, our compassionate staff provides the support needed to live life to the fullest. We can also help with responsibilities such as bathing, dressing, and medication reminders. We serve three home cooked meals daily served in our dining room.

Intermediate Care

Senior adults who have a degree of independent mobility yet need additional supervised care are suited for our intermediate care location. Residents still have the capability to be independent in a wheelchair or with the aid of a walker. Staff is available to assist residents with personal care and medical needs such as bathing, dressing, medications, wound care, etc. In the intermediate care section, we have private and semi-private rooms available.

Total Care

Our residents who need comprehensive medical, physical and personal care are provided with nursing care around the clock. Residents have the opportunity to continue to participate in social interaction through the dining room and a variety of daily activities. We have private and semi-private rooms available in the total care section as well.

Respite Care

Many people care for a senior loved one in their homes. Occasions can arise in the caregiver’s life where respite from care giving responsibilities becomes necessary. We can also provide temporary care when a loved one is released from the hospital and has increased medical needs during recovery. We are their home away from home. Minimum of 30 Day.

Physicians

Our Medical Director provides overall administration for the medical care provided at Taylor Manor. We have two physicians that are on-call 24/7 and abide by Kentucky state regulations for the frequency of visits. Our physicians reside in the area and have partnered with Taylor Manor for many years. We do recommend selecting one of our two physicians to meet all the medical care needs of your loved one. Residents may use their own physician as long as the physician agrees to these same standards of on-call services and required a frequency of on-site visits.

Pharmacy

Our pharmacy department reviews monthly medications and consults regularly with the physicians regarding pharmaceutical needs.

Barber & Beauty Shop

We provide on-site service in our beauty shop two days per week. Residents receive cuts, perms and styling. Barber services are also provided on-site as requested. The services are offered at a nominal fee.

Activities

Our activities department enhances the quality of life for our residents through many activities including, music, singing, crafting, tai-chi and much more.

Additional Services

Taylor Manor offers a host of additional services including Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy, Dieticians, podiatry services, laundry, labs, & oxygen services.

“This place is a Godsend just when my husband needed it.
I cannot say enough good things about the loving atmosphere
that prevails there from the staff to the beautiful grounds.”

“My mother moved to Taylor Manor 18 months ago.  I visit almost every day and what impresses me about Taylor Manor is their holistic approach
to care including an individual's physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.  A listening ear has always been available to me if I voiced any concerns and resolution has always been quick to follow.  I appreciate the love and care that everyone shows my mother and the other residents of Taylor Manor.”

“What Taylor Manor means to me:
As a family member, Taylor Manor means comfort and care.  I strive to insure my wife, Linda is most of all, comfortable.  No pain, hardships, anxiety, any physical discomfort. She will remain comfortable by the care of her needs by the Taylor Manor staff.  Comfort and care, for Linda and all the other residents at Taylor Manor.”

“After moving my mother to Lexington to an Independent Living
Facility late in 2010, she was moved four more times all due to
declining health issues and increased dementia. With each move, she became more distraught, depressed and unhappy until she almost
totally quit talking to me at all. In December, 2015, a friend told
me about Taylor Manor and how happy her loved one had been there.  After visiting Taylor Manor, I moved my mother there in January, 2016.
I truly believe it saved her life!  She is happy, interacts with me again
and is so well cared for.   After her move to Taylor Manor, I asked her
one day if she would like to take a ride with me as before she was
always begging me to take her home.  She responded with a quick,
"NO!"  Surprised, I asked her why not?  My mother replied, "Because
I'm afraid you won't bring me back here!"  I love Taylor Manor!”
